Steven Soderbergs' TV Series Stars Clive Owen — collider.com

Cinemax has released a slew of The Knick posters online.  Steven Soderbergh‘s 10-episode series takes place in New York in 1900 and stars Clive Owen as a surgeon at Knickerbocker Hospital during an era in which antibiotics did not exist, medical procedures were extremely dangerous, and the mortality rates were insanely high.  These character posters remind us that everything was basically terrible, and we should be grateful that we don’t live in the early 20th century because if the ailment didn’t kill us, the treatment probably would.
