The '90s resurgence has officially reached Broadway.
Brandy will be the next famous face to lead Chicago, producers announced Tuesday. The Grammy winner will step into the role of Roxie Hart for an eight-week limited engagement beginning April 28. Her run at the Ambassador Theatre will continue through June 21.

The singer of hits like "I Wanna Be Down" and "The Boy Is Mine" and star of BET's The Game as well as '90s sitcom Moesha will settle into the role of a deadly housewife in the 1920s-set musical about murder and media. The Walter Bobbie-directed revival, which opened in 1996, won six Tony Awards in 1997, including best musical revival, as well as the Grammy Award for best musical theater album.
