So, did Arsene Wenger give a hint about coming back to coaching?
Wenger was in charge of Arsenal for over 20 years, which is an eternity in football. And while it didn’t end the way anyone thought it would, it was speculated that Wenger would ride off into the sunset or take up a “Director of Football” role somewhere, perhaps with PSG or Monaco, where he could “work” on finding players while sipping coffee and doing a crossword puzzle or whatever semi-retired former football managers do.
However, it seems like Wenger wants to get back into management and even though everyone has panned the links to Milan, smoke sometimes means that there is fire.
Of course, sacking Gennaro Gattuso for Wenger seems rather rash and kind of stupid, but hey, we’re not the ones doing the hiring.
On to the links.
