Where to go For Thanksgiving Dinner in Paris | HiP Paris Blog — hipparis.com

Top: Pierre MonettaAbove: Benoit For many Americans, Thanksgiving is the most important holiday of the year. It’s a time to be thankful and to bring together your closest family and friends over a hearty meal. However, expats living in Paris can’t always make it back home. Nor is it easy to prepare a Turkey Day feast considering that turkeys need to be ordered in advance and other ingredients can be hard, and expensive, to come by. If you’re looking for a hassle-free Thanksgiving in Paris, you can enjoy a delicious meal in good company at these fantastic restaurants. Pierre Monetta Breakfast in America This classic American-style diner is a solid choice for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in Paris. Held at their Latin Quarter location and offering three seatings (5pm, 7pm and 9pm), their three-course fixed-price menu at 36.95€ is comprised of an apératif, soup or salad, a main course of turkey and all the usual trimmings, and your choice of pumpkin, apple, or pecan pie. Advanced reservations are required and can be made here.  Breakfast in America Coffee Parisien This trendy American-diner-meets-Parisian-café first opened in 1990 and now has three locations around town. Coffee Parisien‘s breakfast favorites, burgers, and other American classics are all made with exceptional ingredients sourced directly from small artisanal producers. These will be found in their Thanksgiving menu of a salad or pumpkin soup, turkey with stuffing, sweet potato mash, veggies, and pumpkin pie—all for the very reasonable price of 25€. Marissa Wu Ellsworth For a contemporary twist on Thanksgiving, book a table at the small-plate outpost of neo-bistro Verjus. Every year, Americans Braden Perkins and Laura Adrian concoct a special market-based Thanksgiving dinner composed of heritage turkey and inventive takes on traditional side dishes using the freshest seasonal veggies (set-price menu at 70€, reservations here). Ellsworth Kult The stylish restaurant of Le Saint Hotel is also offering a contemporary Thanksgiving dinner inspired by traditional classics. The 55€-menu will include a creamy pumpkin soup topped with roasted pumpkin seeds, free-range chicken from renowned poultry farmer Thierry Dumas with pumpkin espuma and served with green beans, grilled corn, cranberry sauce, and pecan pie (book your table here). Marissa Wu Benoit You can have a chic Thanksgiving with a touch of French flare at this historic bistro run by Alain Ducasse. On Thursday night they will feature a Thanksgiving dinner of free-range turkey stuffed with wild mushrooms, cranberry, and gravy for 46€. This can also be served with a selection of American wines (not included in the set-menu price). More details and reservations at this link. Benoit My Kitch’n Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be all about turkey – and vegans can satisfy their Thanksgiving cravings at this restaurant in the Batignolles area. Inspired by the food of indigenous North and South American cultures, the Thanksgiving feast will include cornbread, Mexican three-bean and corn salad, mashed potatoes with sautéed mushrooms, roasted sweet potato and butternut casserole, caramel pecan pumpkin “cheese” cake, and much more. The price is also quite reasonable at 25€/adult, 15€/children under 12, or 20€ take away.
