Lehman believes that young visitors “represent the future of all museums.” “[W]e must do everything possible to make it easier for them to visit,” he said. To compensate, suggested general admission fees for adults will rise from $12 to $16. Adults over 62 and students with a valid I.D. will be asked to pay $10 instead of $8.
