German magazine Kicker interviewed Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer about his chances of the 2014 Ballon d'Or, and his response is likely to raise a few eyebrows.
When asked whether having a "glamorous" brand like Cristiano Ronaldo's is important in the voting, Neuer responded with a less-than-subtle dig at the reigning winner. Per Marca, he said:
