The sparkling Christmas lights along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris were the perfect backdrop for last night’s party celebrating the grand opening of Longchamp’s flagship store. Fifteen years after throwing the doors open at their Rue Saint Honoré shop, one of France’s most international brands has chosen the legendary avenue as the location for a flagship with two floors dedicated to all of the house’s collections, including a wall of their cult Le Pliage bags, a new “Greetings from Paris” handbag, and a limited-edition bag by Jeremy Scott. Guests including longtime Longchamp collaborator Kate Moss, Lenny Kravitz, Mélanie Laurent (in Valentino), Guillaume Canet, Caroline de Maigret (in an Isabel Marant top), Audrey Tautou (in Marc Jacobs pants and an Isabel Marant top), and Giambattista Valli gathered to celebrate this milestone with the Cassegrain family as Alexa Chung DJed in the background.
