Led Zeppelin Shares Unreleased Demo of 'Houses of the Holy' — billboard.com

The 40th anniversary reissue of Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti will arrive Feb. 24, complete with a second disc of early, alternative takes of its songs. To get ready for the bounty of bonus material, the band has shared an alternate mix of the classic "Houses of the Holy." This rough mix version is noticeably different than the one that appeared on the 1975 double album. It's a little shorter, the guitar is mixed differently, the bass is a little louder, and the vocals a little more raw. Check it out below:
