Director Ridley Scott has donated his collection of memorabilia to the USC School of Cinematic Arts, it was announced Thursday by Elizabeth M. Daley, the dean of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
The Ridley Scott Collection, curated by Andrea Gutierrez, includes scripts, awards, photography, storyboards and production design boards, editing notes and various memoranda and film elements.
It covers his career as a feature film director from his first film The Duellists in 1977 through 2012. More than 20 films are represented including Alien, American Gangster, Blade Runner, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Thelma and Louise.
