LCD Soundsystem's former leader James Murphy has found the perfect David Bowie song to cover for Noah Baumbach's upcoming film about the growing pains of becoming middle-aged. Murphy gives a minimalist, instrumental take on the Station to Station track "Golden Years." Listen to it below. Murphy's cover, released via The Dissolve today, is the first song off the official soundtrack, which also features tracks by Lionel Richie, Haim, A Tribe Called Quest and Foreigner along with Bowie's original version of "Golden Years." On Tuesday, Murphy previewed another ambient instrumental titled, "We Used to Dance."
