The dream of the '90s is alive and well… and in next year's X-Men: Apocalypse, it seems.
Director Bryan Singer has revealed that newcomer Lana Condor has joined the cast of the next X-Men movie as none other than Jubilation Lee — or, as she's better known by longterm X-fans, Jubilee.
Singer announced the news on Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday afternoon.
Jubilee first appeared in 1989's Uncanny X-Men No. 244, the creation of writer Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri, before going on to become a mainstay not only of Marvel Entertainment's X-Men comic books over the next decade, but also one of the lead characters of Fox's 1990s X-Men animated series, which served as an introduction for many to the characters, and indeed comics as a whole.
