New Shakira Single Set for January — billboard.com

Shakira’s first single from her upcoming studio album will be released in January, Sony Music Entertainment has announced. The album, the superstar’s first on Sony label RCA, is set for an early 2014 release. Shakira has said in interviews that the new recording, her first since 2010’s “Sale el Sol,” is dedicated to Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, her partner and the father of her son Milan.
