The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was named Car of the Year at the Northern American International Auto Show in Detroit on Monday, shining the spotlight on the redesigned iconic vehicle just one year after it launched.
The awards ceremony, which kicked off the show, was a double hitter for Chevy, which took home the top prize for North American Truck of the Year with its revamped Silverado.
