Donkey Kong sidekick Diddy Kong will again be a playable character in the upcoming versions of Super Smash Bros. Diddy's return was confirmed today in the latest update from Smash Bros. series boss Masahiro Sakurai, timed to coincide with the launch of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The diminutive ape first joined the fighting series' roster for Wii incarnation Smash Bros. Brawl and quickly became a popular fighting choice.
