Technical fouls always seem to find Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins. For 22 consecutive games, though, they didn't.
In a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday night, Cousins picked up his 16th technical of the season, which, as The Sacramento Bee's Jason Jones explains, means he's played his last game this year.
"Per NBA rules, a 16th technical foul results in an automatic one-game suspension," he writes. "Unless the league rescinds the technical, Cousins will miss the season finale against Phoenix on Wednesday."
