On their most recent album Teeth Dreams, the Hold Steady reflect on middle age, channeling their jubilant rock & roll energy toward the daily disappointments of adulthood. Opening track "I Hope This Whole Thing Doesn't Frighten You," for instance, finds frontman Craig Finn reuniting with long-lost hometown buddies who haven't quite outgrown their trouble-making ways, and fittingly, the song's music video (which we're premiering here today), was shot this past February at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, where the band played a special show to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
