If the NBA confirms that Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling did indeed utter racist venom, he is a gross bigot. Keith Olbermann has Tweeted that the team should refuse to play until the NBA punishes Sterling.
Jackie Robinson’s heroism proves Sterling and Olberman both wrong. Early in his major league career Robinson endured abuse that would probably cause a riot today.
