Indie pop fans, rejoice -- a new Pains of Being Pure at Heart album is here. Almost three years exactly since the release of 2011's "Belong" the Brooklyn-based indie pop troupe will release its third full length album, "Days of Abandon," May 13 via Yebo Music.
Aside from finding a new label (after releasing two albums for Slumberland Records) frontman Kip Berman shuffled the band's lineup, enlisting a new live keyboardist (Drew Citron, to replace Peggy Wang) and a new vocalist (A Sunny Day in Glasgow's Jen Goma) who absolutely slays lead vocals on "Kelly" and "Life After Life."
