Boeing has a futuristic idea of what commercial spaceflight could look like. Earlier this month, the company unveiled concept images for the interior of a potential commercial spaceliner.
The company reworked its CST-100, a proposed transport system for getting space station crews to and from orbit. It’s still waiting to hear whether NASA will award a contract for the job.
The new concept is intended for commercial flight, not government contracting, but takes some cues from the original version. Boeing representatives say that work was a good starting point.
