Even before the Los Angeles Film Festival formally kicks off June 11, the fest will hold two pre-festival screenings: DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon 2 will be presented in 3D on June 9, and Sony/MGM’s 22 Jump Street will unspool on June 10. The Dragon sequel, written and directed by Dean DeBlois and featuring the voices of Kit Harington, Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler and Craig Ferguson, will be released nationally on June 13. The Jump Street sequel, from directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, opens to the public June 13.
