Well, over the weekend it seemed like Anchorman and Step Brothers director Adam McKay turned out to be the director to take over for departed director Edgar Wright on Marvel's gestating adaptation of their comic book Ant-Man, but then he fell away just as quickly. The film is still slated for release on July 17th, 2015, and Marvel has every intention of sticking with it, so they're still trying to find a replacement quickly. When the shortlist for possible replacements was revealed, Zombieland and Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer was up for the job, but The Wrap reports he's also one of the possibilities to direct another developing blockbuster, the Sony sequel/reboot Ghostbusters 3 that's still in development.
