Glam rocker Gary Glitter will be charged with eight sexual offenses involving girls aged 12 to 14, Sky News reports. Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was arrested back in October 2012 over allegations dating back to the late 1970s, but was released on police bail, which extended to March of this year.
Glitter now faces four counts of indecent assault, one count of "administering a drug or other thing in order to facilitate sexual intercourse," and one count of sexual intercourse with a girl under 13 between January 31st and May 31st, 1977. He's also been charged with two counts of indecent assault of another girl aged 13 or 14 between October 1st, 1979 and December 31st, 1980.
