After three highly successful WOCMES meetings organised in Mainz, Amman and Barcelona in 2002, 2006 and 2010 respectively, it is now Ankara’s turn to host the world congress focusing on Social Studies of all branches of humanities from all over the world. At the conference, scholars, professors, researchers and students to meet and discuss ideas, exchange and explore information and to build networks for joint research in Northern Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East. Middle East Technical University will be the venue that will host this interesting event and a series of meetings, exhibitions and panels have already started being organised by various associations, research centres and other global institutions. A series of exhibitions and other cultural events, such as book fairs and a film festival will also be taking place.
