For his first-ever collection as Moschino's creative director, Jeremy Scott was inspired by junk food. He covered everything from sunnies to shoes and handbags in that famous McDonald's red and yellow palette and gowns were wrapped with Chester Cheetos' cheesy snacks. Talk about high-low, right?
Now, Scott has enlisted photographer Steven Meisel to shoot the Italian house's fall 2014 ad campaign. Styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, with hair and makeup by Pat McGrath and Guido Palau, the black and white, rather austere campaign is quite the contrast from the splashy runway show. Still, Scott and his all-star crew wrangled a supermodel casting which is bound to make a bit of a splash: It features Linda Evangelista, Stella Tennant, Carolyn Murphy, Saskia Debraw, Karen Elson, and Raquel Zimmerman. Somehow we can't picture Evangelista, who once famously that she "doesn't get out of bed for less than $10,000" eating at McDonald's. Wearing Moschino's version of McDonald's, however, that makes sense.
