Fishing Without Nets, the Somali pirates docudrama that debuted at Sundance, has been acquired for distribution in a deal between 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and VICE, the global youth media company and content creation studio that produced the project.
VICE also will work with Alamo Drafthouse and TUGG for theater engagements for the film, which is the directorial debut of Cutter Hodierne. Hodierne won the directing award at Sundance for the film.
