Jerry Bruckheimer has announced (via Slashfilm) that they're hoping to begin Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales early 2015. The clip comes from the Monte Carlo Television Festival, where no doubt Bruckheimer is representing several of his hit TV franchises. The film is slated to be directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg ( Bandidas), from a script by Jeff Nathanson ( Catch Me If You Can). Of course, a lot has changed since Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney made Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. For one, The Lone Ranger, which lost the studio a ton of money. That led to the dissolution of a pact between Bruckheimer and Disney, one that resulted in some of the biggest films of all time, and also some of the most expensive.
