Outdoor Activities: The park is a year-round outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Snowshoe or cross-country ski the gentle two to three mile Lower McDonald Creek Trail through the forest, or enjoy a guided snowshoe walk. Seasoned cyclists will find a challenging ride along the 50-mile Going-to-the-Sun Road, where your efforts will be rewarded with spectacular views of the park's interior. In addition to offering more than 700 miles of hiking trails, the park boasts trout and ice fishing and boating opportunities for both motorized and non-motorized vessels. Mountaineering and rock climbing adventures abound among the park's peaks, six of which soar to more than 10,000 feet.
