Bassnectar bangs out his first No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, as "Noise vs. Beauty," his eighth charted album, debuts with 13,000 units sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The bow marks Bassnectar's best sales week in more than two years; "Vava Voom," his last full-length set, debuted at No. 2, also with 13,000 (although a slightly higher raw total than that of "Noise"). "Noise," his sixth Dance/Electronic Albums top 10, also debuts at No. 5 on Independent Albums (via the Amorphous label) and No. 21 on the Billboard 200.
