New Ad From Guinness Reveals The Brand's True Character — forbes.com

Step aside Nike and Apple Apple. Guinness is fast becoming the icon of great branding. Their “Made Of More” brand idea has taken advertising to a new and inspiring place. This week we get a respectful nod to our 4th Of July celebrations with this near-perfect pour: Before this “Empty Chair” spot, there was the now-famous “Basketball” spot, where a group of friends choose to play in wheelchairs in support of a friend who actually needed one. During the Olympics, it was the “ Barnes Twins” spot, where one Barnes sister chooses to give up her spot on the Olympic team so the other Barnes sister could go. These spots are wonderful because they don’t just tell a story, but do it with real cinematic quality.
