M83 to release reissues of first three albums, plus remix and b-sides compilations — consequenceofsound.net

Mute Records has announced plans to reissue the first three albums from M83’s Anthony Gonzalez, in addition to two compilations of remixes and b-sides. Reissues of 2001’s M83, 2004’s Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts, and 2005’s Before the Dawn Heals Us will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats beginning August 25th. All three releases were previously out of print. Then, on September 9th, Mute will release the two compilations, Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts Remixes and B-Sides and Before The Dawn Heals Us Remixes and B-Sides, which compile remixes, b-sides, and other rarities from the respective album’s eras. Those releases will only be available digitally.
