The collector who bought Tracey Emin’s installation My Bed at auction earlier this month in London will lend the work to the Tate in London. Count Christian Duerckheim, a Cologne-based industrialist, has agreed to lend the work for at least ten years. He said in a statement: “I always admired the honesty of Tracey, but I bought My Bed because it is a metaphor for life, where troubles begin and logics die.”
