You can take the boy out of Arkansas, but you can't take the Arkansas out of the boy … even when he's covering a rap song. Country-to-the-core hitmaker Joe Nichols has started incorporating the 1992 Sir Mix-a-Lot song, "Baby Got Back," into his concert set lists. He only meant for it to be a one-time thing, but that first time was the charm. "It started with just me playing a joke on my band…. I think it was at Stagecoach," he tells Rolling Stone Country. "I would kick off another song and then go into [singing in a slow, southern drawl], 'I like big butts and I cannot lie…' But the band just joined right in, so the joke was on me! So we kept playing it, and the crowd went nuts."
