If you’re sandwich lover like me, you can eat sandwiches year round. However, the lazy days of summer make it seem like sandwich season. I like to lay it on thick with homemade mayonnaise. (There are 4 kinds of plain and flavored mayos in my fridge right now.) Why make mayonnaise from scratch? Because it tastes a zillion times better than store bought, is easy and fast (less than it takes to go to the store to buy mayo), and magical.
