venier customizes moto guzzi v7 stone for new york client photo © alex logaiski all images courtesy of venier customs brooklyn-based venier customs has restyled a ‘moto guzzi v7 stone’ into what they call ‘tractor 02′ for a client in new york. the concept of the project is that it has to be comfortable for two people while riding throughout the bumpy streets of manhattan while swerving between the crowded traffic of taxi cabs and buses. this idea led to the development of the design as a ‘scrambler,’ meaning that it should be modified to handle the rigors presented by multiple types of terrain. the manual motorcycle features continental dual sport tires, a dry monodisc-clutch, a GPS speedometer, and a small black LSL headlight. in comparison to the pre-existing dimensions, the handmade seat is extended and moved 30mm towards the back of the bike to accommodate more riders. the tubular steel frame is powered by a 90° V-twin motor with 2 cylinders and 4-strokes capable of reaching a max speed of 109 mph/175kmh. for each of their creations, venier refuses to use any ABS or plastic, making everything out of iron-carbon alloy or aluminum, and consults artisanal shops and craftsmen for their paints, levers, and other components.
