Zach Braffs relationship study Wish I Was Here has slowly and steadily been building up support as it rolls out into more markets. The writer-directors follow up to the influential Garden State impressed critics and crowds at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. Now it is unveiling itself to select cities, picking up buzz and starting conversations as it plays. (I, for one, want to at least see Mandy Patinkin in the annual awards race for the subtle, sweet performance he gives as Zach Braffs ailing father in this sentimental drama.)
