(Reuters) - Katie Ledecky set a world record in the women's 400 meters freestyle at the U.S. National Championships in Irvine, California on Saturday.
Ledecky clocked 3 minutes, 58.86 seconds to better the old mark held by Italian Federica Pellegrini at 3:59.15.
