On June 7, 2014, George Strait played the final show of his two-year-long Cowboy Rides Away farewell tour at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. While a crowd of nearly 105,000 were on hand to witness the historic event, millions more had to be satisfied with mere snippets of the classic country music he and his special guests performed that night — until now. On September 16th, MCA Nashville will release The Cowboy Rides Away: Live From AT&T Stadium, a 20-track CD featuring live versions of hits from throughout the iconic Texan's extraordinary career.
