Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish and More May Join GEOSTORM — collider.com

It’s been quite a while since Gerard Butler took the lead role in Dean Devlin’s Geostorm, but now it looks as though he could finally get some co-stars.  It’s being reported that Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish, Ed Harris and Andy Garcia are all in negotiations for roles in the Warner Bros./Skydance film. Devlin’s responsible for penning Universal Solider, Stargate and Independence Day, and also has a bunch of producing credits to his name too, but Geostorm will mark his feature directorial debut.  Hit the jump for more on the upcoming sci-fi adventure.  Geostorm is set for a March 25, 2016 release.
