If you try to sell me on pretty much anything related to Martin Scorsese or HBO, I’m going to be at least a little interested. Put them together, I’m all-ears. If it happens to be for a television series based on “Shutter Island,” now I have tears in my eyes. Well, Deadline is reporting that the dream I didn’t even know I had has come true. HBO and Paramount’s new television division is teaming up with Scorsese and Dennis Lehane, who wrote the original “Shutter Island” novel, for a prequel series tentatively called “Ashecliffe.”
