'Looney Tunes' Spin-Off 'ACME' Back to Life with Steve Carell Starring — firstshowing.net

Way back in 2010, Warner Bros. was developing a live-action/CGI hyrbid spin-off of their iconic "Looney Tunes" cartoon short franchise. The film was said to focus on the fictional ACME Corporation, the company responsible for making a lot of the crazy (and often times faulty) products that pop up in "Looney Tunes" cartoons from time to time. Originally Kevin & Dan Hageman were hired to write the script after coming up with an idea similar to the Amblin Entertainment movies of the 1980s, but now X-Men: First Class and Thor writing duo Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz will be tackling the script.
