Nothing says brand loyalty like getting your favorite logo tattooed on your body, right?
Strange though it might seem, brand tattooing is far from a new idea, but we’ve certainly never seen it done in the way that Reebok is doing it in their latest campaign running in Sweden in partnership with the Tough Viking race.
Reebok’s new campaign is called Reebok Forever, a fitting title as it is encouraging its loyal brand fans to get the Reebok logo tattooed on their body in exchange for sponsorship and prizes. The campaign is due to run at the end of August 2014 on the site of Sweden’s Tough Viking race, billed as the most challenging obstacle course in the Nordics. Reebok will set up a tattoo studio on site to give tattoos of Reebok’s logo to fans, with anyone getting tattooed automatically qualifying for a prize of 5,000 Swedish Krona (about USD $728) worth of fitness kit. The grand prize, awarded to the brave participant who gets inked with the biggest Reebok tattoo is a year long fitness sponsorship worth 40,000 Swedish Krona (about $5800).
