Sep 4th '14 by Tom Breihan @ 4:40pm1 Comment Last week, the New York indie rock band Cymbals Eat Guitars released their titanic, surging, beautiful album LOSE, and if it had been up against anything less monstrous than Ty Segall’s Manipulator, it would’ve been Album Of The Week for sure. The album is built out of overdriven guitar and unrestrained emotion, and the band’s new video for the falsetto rocker “Laramie” makes a nice visual accompaniment to that. Director Milton Ladd transposes footage of the band rocking out with oceanic imagery, blurring everything together into a mythic kaleidoscope. Watch it below.
