'Outlander' author guarantees more books — hypable.com

Outlander is proving to be one of the most successful premium cable series. It’s a good thing that there will be more books on the way. When we spoke to Outlander executive producer Ron Moore back in October 2013 at New York Comic-Con, and again in July 2014 at San Diego Comic-Con, he stated that he was intending, at least in his initial planning, to cover roughly one Outlander novel per TV season. In 2014-2015, the Outlander TV series will cover the first novel in the series, also entitled Outlander. In the second series, which was green-lit several weeks ago, the second novel, Dragonfly in Amber, will be tackled.
