James Franco keeps his slate full with notable literary adaptations like The Sound and the Fury, Child of God, and Zeroville. Franco will add another, as Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk tells Lit Reactor that Franco optioned his book Rant: The Oral Biography of Buster Casey. Set in the near future, the story centers on recounted memories of Buster “Rant” Casey, the leader of an urban demolition derby who “will die a spectacular highway death, after which his friends gather the testimony needed to build an oral history of his short, violent life.”
