Paul Kim likes to divide the world in two. There's the "physical world," as he calls it over and over, and then there's the "digital world." In the physical world, there are millions of busy people who frequently scribble ideas on tiny, colorful three-by-three inch papers and then use the gentle adhesive on the back to stick those papers on bulletin boards, refrigerators, desktop computers and other physical objects. They collaborate with coworkers, leave reminders for their children, pass sweet and not-so-sweet notes to their spouses. In the physical world, Post-it Notes are everywhere. In the digital world, they're not.
