Thirteen women who used to work as servers at Cafe Lalo, which can be seen in the 1998 Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan film You've Got Mail, filed a lawsuit Friday against the restaurant's owner, Haim Lalo, and manager Daniel Reyes, according to the New York Post.
The $26 million suit accuses Lalo of not paying fair wages to them and Reyes of mistreating and regularly cursing at female employees who rejected his romantic advances. According to the Post, the suit alleges that Reyes "treats the restaurant as his own personal dating service and a place where he could indulge in his unwholesome desires."
