Redbox's Streaming Video Service Is Shutting Down — forbes.com

Video streaming service “Redbox Instant by Verizon” launched for the public on March 14, 2013 and it is shutting down today at 11:59PM Pacific time. Redbox Instant offered a free one-month trial and an $8 per month unlimited streaming service. The $8 price also included four rentals a month from Redbox’s kiosks. Redbox said that the service is getting shut down because it was “not as successful as we hoped it would be.”
