In a further sign that television truly is the new cinema, the Berlinale co-production market, the co-financing and co-production forum held during the Berlin International Film Festival, has announced it will open its doors to small-screen productions, starting next year.
Creators and producers of TV series, as well as buyers and sellers, will be able to take part in the 2015 co-production market, which runs Feb.9-10. The co-pro market is collaborating together with Forum des Images, organizers of the Parisian international TV festival Series Mania, for the TV side of the Berlin event.
