After seven years and three albums, Sixx:A.M. will do its first tour as a headliner -- though fans will have to wait another six months for the experience.
Wrestling Nikki Sixx's commitments to Mötley Crüe's farewell tour and Guns N' Roses' demands for DJ Ashba, Sixx:A.M. has scoped out April for a 16-date tour to promote the group's just-released third album, Modern Vintage. Sixx, Ashba and James Michael will be joined by drummer Jeff Fabb (In This Moment, Filter, Black Label Society) and a pair of vocalists who backed the group for its release-day show Tuesday at the iHeart Radio Theater in Los Angeles. The trek opens April 8 at San Francisco's Regency Ballroom and wraps 21 days later at The Fillmore in Silver Springs, Md., with Apocalyptica opening all dates.
