Young responded: “CSNY will never tour again, ever … I love those guys.” David Crosby took to Twitter on Friday night to acknowledge Young’s comments: “I hear Neil said ’there will never be any more CSNY shows’ that’s like saying there are mountains in Tibet we know Neil ….we already knew.” He also replied to a few fans and shed a little more light on the situation: When someone asked why Young said what he did, Crosby responded that “he is very angry with me” and reiterated that a reunion is “not going to happen.” And after someone said that “no one can hold a candle to Neil when it comes to playing guitar,” Crosby shot back, “I know at least 20 better guitar players than Neil 3 in Snarky Puppy alone ..Hendrix , Stevie ray, get a grip.” All of his tweets about the matter are below.
